Mr. Burns walks in happily but soon collapses until he has had coffee. He decides to shake things up b having a fire drill. Everyone panics in the plant and Homer makes it to the exit and seals everyone in. Although this is after 15 minutes.
Mr. Burns decides to make everyone go on a corporate retreat to work on team work. The family arrive and Homer smashes up everyone else’s car. Mr. Burns points out Homer wasn’t supposed to bring his family.
Smithers announces the rules and Mr. Burns says that the last team to reach the cabin will be fired. Homer ends up getting drawn with Mr. Burns and Smithers gets drawn with himself. In the National Park centre Bart and Lisa are bored so they head outside. They find Smithers and they offer to help him.
Mr. Burns suggests they cheat and reveals a sled. Marge starts to wonder where Bart and Lisa are. She asks the ranger who says they will take the chairlift. They soon find the kids but Marge and the ranger are having trouble with the chairlift.
In the cabin Mr. Burns and Homer are relaxing while they wait for the others. They seem to be getting along really well. They clink glasses and it causes an avalanche burying the cabin in show. They are trapped. Mr. Burns uses the telegraph to send a Morse code signal but nobody hears it.
Lenny and Carl arrive at where the cabin should be but there is no sign of it. Meanwhile under them Homer and Mr. Burns are trying to dig a tunnel. They finally break to the surface but when they speak they cause another avalanche and are buried once again. They decide to build snowman.
Smithers makes it a cabin where everyone else is and learns of Mr. Burns being in trouble. The ranger comes in and says this is a watch cabin. Homer and Mr. Burns get paranoid and end up fighting. They smash the propane bottle and it bursts into flames propelling the cabin out of the mountain.
Mr. Burns reminds them of the competition and fires Lenny when he makes it to the cabin last. |
