 The award winning comedy stylings of Ricky Gervais and co-creator Stephen Merchant bring us the Office, charting the adventures of people working for a paper company. One of the most acclaimed comedy series in the UK for a long time, it even took the United States by storm (to be honest we in the UK didn't think America would get it ;), the series even won a Golden Globe.
The show ran for two series and featured Christmas specials too but was discontinued by the creators after this. Both series and the Christmas specials are now available to buy on DVD.
The day to day life of the office sees David Brent as the manager who's primary job is as an "entertainer", Gareth the slightly strange team leader who is Brent's number 2 (at least he likes to think so) and I could go on but that might spoil the series ;).
