Kirsten takes Seth and Ryan shopping. Ryan sees Marissa, Summer and Luke there. In the changing room, Summer asks Marissa to set her up with Ryan.

An investigator arrives at Sandy's office and speaks to him about the loan. He says Jimmy is being investigated for fraud. Later Sandy tells Kirsten about Jimmy. Ryan wants to pull out but when he sees Marissa in her dress he decides to go. Kirsten talks to Jimmy.

At the part Luke squares of with Ryan. He punches him in the stomach, knocking him down but Ryan doesn't fight back. Later Ryan tells Seth he isn't going to Catillion. Sandy: "Like what? You steal a car, you burn down a house, you beat up the captain of the water polo team? Those ships have sailed my friend."

Seth: "mum, don't say underpants"

Summer: "Every girl needs a white knight."
Seth: "Seth Cohen. White knight."

Analysis

Ah the trusted episode four. The initial ideas are fading and its down to some good old fashioned story telling. Quite an entertaining episode if a bit heavy on emotion. Though until the end it finally looked like Marissa and Ryan were making some headway.

A lot of the episode was consumed with Jimmy's problems which although is an interesting issue, does not require that level of attention. Still the episode got by without using a huge amounts of cliched or expected events.

How do I feel at this point? Well I definatly want to watch more. But I have a feeling that is from the teaser trailers on TV and not the episode itself.
