Star Trek: Next Generation
Show Overview
Though the original series of Star Trek will always have the vintage edge, the Next Generation goes down as one of the pioneers of the Star Trek series. It was the first to feature the now standard 7 series run and release in high priced DVD boxsets.
Captain Picard lead the Enterprise though unknown terrority, being the first captain to encounter the rather annoying Borg. Luckily his crew also including Riker, Troi, Dr. Crusher, Geordi and Starfleet's prize Android Data.
The Next Generation really opened the world of Star Trek up. And continues to be the setting for Star Trek movies including the latest, released in 2003, Star Trek Nemesis.
