U2 postpone world tour
Dates put back across world

U2 have said that their world tour will be starting at the end of March rather than at the beginning. Several tour dates have been cancelled including the previously first scheduled one in Miami with the tour now kicking off in Los Angeles.

Though the band have yet to make an official announcement, they are expected to do so around January 24th. It is also expected that dates across the rest of the world will be moved with places like Japan and Australia possibly not seeing the band until 2006.

RollingStone.com have reported that the tour delay was down to an illness within one of the families of the band members, however manger Paul McGuinness dismissed claims although admitted that the tour would be delayed in a post on the official website.
