Angel TV movies beyond rumour
The WB offer Joss a deal

Garth Ancier, chairman of The WB network has offered Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and spinoff series Angel, a deal to make new Angel TV movies.

Until recently the idea of a series of TV movies after Angel finished earlier this year, was little more than rumour. But now it appears there is truth behind it.

According to Ancier, the WB never really wanted to cancel Angel in the first place but were under pressure to do so from Fox.
