Doctor Who filming begins
New series to hit BBC 2005

Cardiff, Wales - filming has begun on a brand new series of cult show Doctor Who. The new series is expected to premiere on BBC early in 2005.

Christopher Eccleston will take the lead as Doctor Who and singer turned actor (apparently) Billie Piper will take the part of his sidekick.
