Chandler rings Joey and tries to apologise but Joey keeps hanging up on him. Roll opening credits. It appears to be Thanks Giving and Phoebe suggests they do secret Santa. Later she tells Chandler about Rachel getting rid of all the gifts.
Monica gets ice in her eye and goes to see the on call doctor when Phoebe tells her Richard isn’t there. Ross wonders if Chandler wants to trade but Chandler tells him about Rachel getting rid of gifts.
Ross tells Joey to talk to Chandler but at Central Perk Joey bottles it. Dr. Burke is ready to see Monica – Richard’s son. Chandler gets back to find Joey packing to go to his folks. Joey tells him when he was trapped in the entertainment unit for 6 hours he thought about how he let Chandler down.
Chandler says he would do the same thing if they still had the entertainment system; Joey points out that they have a box. Monica is told that she has to wear a patch. Back at the apartment Monica tells everyone Richard’s son is coming over for Thanks Giving. Ross questions Rachel and she admits she exchanged the necklace.
Monica announces that dinner is ready and Chandler makes a joke but Joey says he shouldn’t be talking. Ross accuses Rachel of having no sentiment but she fetches a box of mementoes. Ross says sorry but tells her that she wasn’t supposed to take a fossil from the museum.
Later out on the balcony Monica and Tim, Richard’s son, talk. They kiss but Monica freaks out when it reminds her of Richard. Kathy turns up and tells Chandler she is leaving as she is coming between him and Joey. She leaves and Joey gets all emotional and lets him out of the box. |
