Ross is kissing the most beautiful person in the world – she is a science nerd. Everyone else wonders how Ross got her. Roll title credits. Chandler says he is getting a special copy of a book for Kathy. Monica comes off the phone saying she can’t cater a funeral for 60 people as she doesn’t have the equipment.
Phoebe tells her to get moving and offers to lend her the money to get started. Kathy and Joey come in and they question what Joey is getting her for her birthday. Monica comes back and says the funeral was great. Phoebe asks for her money but Monica says she spent it but she has another funeral tomorrow that she can pay her with.
Ross goes on his second date and afterwards they go back to her place but it looks like a land fill site. Ross suggests they go back to his place but she says it smells funny. At the funeral Monica goes to ask for her payment but the woman breaks down.
Phoebe tells Monica she was faking it as outside the room she is singing. Meanwhile Joey comes back with a pen for Kathy and Chandler says he will shop for him. Later Ross tells Joey about the apartment. Joey talks him into going back while Chandler returns saying that he couldn’t find a gift. He ends up giving the book to Joey.
At the catering job Phoebe yells at the widow until she pays. Monica says they should be partners. At the apartment Ross almost ends up killing the hamster but it turns out to be a rat. Joey comes back and says Kathy loved the gift. She comes in and Joey slides him the pen and tells Kathy Chandler got her a gift too.
Joey goes into the bedroom and thanks Chandler for the book. Chandler leaves and Joey and Kathy prepare to get it on. Meanwhile Monica turns up at that girl’s apartment asking if she can clean it. |
