Barbara invites Chris to her birthday party. Chris is not sure what present to take and asks Meg. Meg goes out crying. Chris says he is planning to get a paper round to pay for the present himself. At the party Barbara gets perfume from Chris but he gets it in her eyes.
Chris goes into the mini mall and witnesses a robbery. The robber steals Chris’s bike. Chris identifies him even though he is scared. Peter goes in however looking for him and gives all Chris’s details to the criminal.
The news interrupts Alf’s life story about a break out of prison. It’s the robber and he says he is coming to kill Chris Griffin. The FBI tell them they are being placed in the Witness Protection Programme. They are to be relocated to the deep South.
They arrive in the town of Bumblescum. They go into their house and find out that it is a wreck. The town’s ATM consists of a box with a guy inside. Stewie is enchanted by the banjo. Chris meets Sam, a simple southern boy. At school the big is beating all the kids at spelling.
Peter gets a job as a sheriff and they both get drunk. At a civil war re-enactment Peter points out the North won and are chased by the civil war veterans. Sam’s dad tells Peter he doesn’t want his son hanging out with Chris. Sam tries to kiss Chris.
At the Griffin’s house the FBI gives the criminal’s Meg’s address after he refuses to give out Chris’s. Meanwhile at the lake, Sam turns out to be a girl. Stewie is sitting around playing the banjo with the rest of his band. Lois gets a call from the FBI telling them the criminal knows where they are.
Peter calls the sheriff and answers it on his sheriff’s cell phone. Sam and Chris head down to the bridge to make out. Meg is impressing all the boys when Peter and Brian turn up to find Chris. Peter and Brian manage to stop the criminal and they head home. |
