Neal’s father gives a talk at school. It seems like a fathers day talk. Peter is next to give a talk and tells them about his toy factory job. One kid insults the job and Peter goes for him but the teacher holds him back and tells him to get him after school in the park when he is playing kickball.
There is an upcoming renaissance fair. Peter comes home depressed about how much his job sucks. Lois tells him to invite his boss over for dinner. Mr. Weed accepts. When he arrives Lois tells him the kids won’t he having dinner with them. They come down and do a little song and dance before disappearing upstairs.
Mr. Weed says he is very impressed by Peter’s family and promotes him to head of Toy Development. However Brian is choking and when Peter gets him to spit it out, it goes into Mr. Weed’s mouth and he chokes to death. Police arrive at the door for a random dead body search and Peter tries to flush Mr. Weed down the toilet.
It turns out just to be Death. At the funeral Peter tells everyone about the promotion. However at work everyone is shown a video in which Mr. Weed gives instructions for the factory to be torn down to make way for a terminal disease institute. Peter goes down to the employment office however the guy can’t be bothered as he is leaving his job soon.
Peter tries a few jobs but none of them work out. Lois tells Peter to pursue his dream job and become a Renascence fair jouster. Peter sees Neal’s dad at the fair and tells him the story of how he first got his dream when he took LCD.
Peter is practising with his Dance and is destroying everything. Peter seems enchanted by the Black Night’s wench, Madelyn. The Black Knight comes over and confronts Peter and tells him if he sees him again he will kill him. Peter gives up jousting. At the fair, the Black Night begins defeating people. He runs out of challengers and then sees Peter. He tells him to get lost and Peter leaves. But returns ready to joust.
Peter takes out the Black Knight when he is distracted by Neal’s father toeing his car away. Peter is offed a full time touring job but he says no and walks off with his family. |
