Starts with a previously on ‘Family Guy’ with loads of stuff that never happened. Lois tells Peter not to throw out Brian’s stuff. They get a letter from Brian. He tells them he is having a great time as a writer in LA. However he is an actually a waiter. He sees Kearnu Reeves who has a woodpecker on his head.
The family watch ‘kids say’ and notice there are additions and each person who gets on the show gets a free trip to LA so they decide to enter Stewie. Brian’s career is going nowhere. At the audition Stewie is selected for the show.
On the plane ride someone complains about being in front of a baby so Stewie decides to torture him for the entire flight. Brian gets a call from Jack Nicholson about his script but it turns out to be a prank call. The family arrive in LA and call Brian and arrange to have dinner. Peter accidentally swallows the cell phone.
Brian’s cousin Joshua comes back and says he might be able to help Brian get his foot in the door. Brian talks to a producer Joshua set him up with and offers him a directors job on a low budget movie, Brian agrees. At dinner Brian says they can come see him on set. Brain keeps getting cell phone calls in his stomach.
Brian arrives to find it is a porn movie. Brian says he cannot to do until he sees Jenna in nothing but a g string. Peter is pulled over by the LAPD for speeding and gets them to beat him while Lois videoed it. The family arrive on the set but Brian throws them off the set. Later Stewie gets his make up done and talks about who is gay and who is straight.
On the show Stewie tries to hypnotise the audience but his goggles are stolen by the presenter who hypnotises everyone without knowing it. Brian is nominated for a Woody, the adult movie awards.
Brian is drinking at the bar at the awards but Lois and Brian are there. Brian explains why he sent them off set but they say that they support him if it’s what he wants. He feels bad until it is announced he has won the award. The family head home with souvenirs. Peter has kidnapped Jenna. |
