Brian is on a date but his date doesn’t understand what he is on about. When he gets home, Lois is giving piano lessons. Lois gets Peter to take Brian to the laser rock show tonight to cheer him up. There are many weird science exhibitions there.
At the laser rock show Brian starts drinking and continues on the drive home. They get pulled over by cops and it turns out to be Joe. He arrests Brian. One month later Brian is in court. Peter has grown a huge heard. Brian is given 100 hours of community service. He gets assigned to the outreach to the elderly programme.
The family go to a restaurant and Peter constantly scratches his beard. He also gets food in it and it attacked by a bird. Someone comes up and tells him the bird is a very rare species and cannon be hurt.
Brian hates his community service and in the end leaves. Pete tries to get the bird out of his beard and finally manages it but the bird has laid eggs in his beard. Later that night Brian finds out the old women he was looking after used to be one of the most successful singers of all time. Brian goes back to her house and stops her hanging herself.
Peter shares his life with the baby birds but Lois tells them he has to let them go. Brian is over at Pearl’s house and he says they should go out for dinner. She doesn’t want to but Brian sings a song about everything she has been missing. She steps outside and gets hit by a truck.
Brian takes Pearl on a virtual reality tour of their life together, or at least what it would have been without the trucking hitting her and all. She dies. Brian finally lets the birds go and shaves the beard off. The two share a drink in the Drunken Clam. |
