Dawson and Joey watch a horror movie in honour of Friday 13th tomorrow. On the news the reporter talks about a serial killer. Joey turns it over to something else and looks over to find Dawson gone. He comes out from under the bed with the evil mask on and scares Joey. Joey dives on him.
Roll opening titles. At school next day Pacey questions Dawson on what he is planning to do but Dawson tells him he is done trying to turn his life into a movie. Pacey reminds him of the serial killer on the loose. Dawson says he is done with it all though and Pacey starts to believe it – that is unlike he opens his locker.
Cliff invites Jen out and she eventually agrees. Joey finds a snake in his bag though it turns out to be made of plastic. Pacey tells Jen and Joey about the serial killer. Dawson invites everyone over of a séance. Jen says she has plans while Dawson slits a human finger onto Pacey’s plate. Jen asks where her scare is. She leaves.
Joey goes for a chip and finds the finger. In film class Dawson is kicking ass with answers. Cliff asks Dawson for advice on where to take Jen. Meanwhile Jen finds a note in her locker. Later at home she gets a phone call from a weird voice. She thinks it is Dawson but he denies it. She gets scared, then Evelyn comes back.
Joey comes over as Dawson prepares for the séance. Pacey arrives in the jeep to collect Dawson and Joey. Dawson and Pacey head into the store while Joey watches the car on account of Pacey not having the keys. A woman in the store offers to get them a bottle of wine and sticks it in her bag. A man turns up at the window of the car and introduces himself as David. He talks to her when Dawson approaches and he leaves.
Dawson tells her not to talk to strangers. The woman gives Pacey the wine and she invites him but someone comes after her. They dive in the car and drive off. The woman is identified as Ursula. Cliff turns up to pick up Jen, Evelyn really likes him. Cliff tells her they are going to Dawson’s for séance.
Ursula looks round the house and opens a tub with spring snakes in. Everyone watches her. Dawson tells everyone to help themselves to drinks and Jen confronts Dawson about the phone call. Dawson denies knowledge of it. Ursula opens the fridge to find a bloody head inside. She streams and then laughs again. Dawson begins to set up for the séance.
Jen talks to Joey and tells her, her ending up here is the work of Dawson. They open a cupboard and another head comes out. The séance begins and Pacey suggests they channel the spirit of the lady killer. Dawson talks about how the killer calls his victims and Cliff points out Jen got a call.
Dawson continues the story of how the killer cut off the phone, electricity, etc then cuts the victims heart out. They all begin telling scary stories and Ursula tells a story which is actually about her. Then the electricity goes off and Jen goes to call the electricity company but the phone is out. The group split up to check the doors, get flash lights and check the fuse box.
Joey and Pacey talk but are interrupted by a strange noise – it turns out to be an axe swinging from side to side. Cliff scares Jen by jumping out on her. They get the flash lights out of the closet but find a message written in what looks like blood on the mirror. Cliff suggests it might not be Dawson. Dawson and Ursula check the fuse box. Something watches them from the bushes.
Ursula tells Dawson she senses their relationship between her and Joey but Dawson says he likes Jen. Ursula tells him he is dating the wrong girl. Dawson admits the black out was a big stunt but he is unable to get the power back on as something has jammed it. Dawson comes back in and goes to look for Joey. She falls out of a closet appears to be like knocked out or stunned. Then a killer comes out but it is Jen.
Dawson tries to assure Jen he didn’t do that stuff earlier and goes up to his room. Jen follows him and questions him on why he invited her. They start kissing but decide not to. Jen tells him to include her in future. Outside Pacey and Ursula talk but something is watching them. It is that guy that is after Ursula. They run in and lock the door.
They plan to call the police but Dawson reminds them he disconnected the phone line outside. He tries to get inside and they realise he ahs climbed in through the window. He gets Pacey but Joey beats him with a frying pan. Ursula drags her off and asks “Eddie” if he is ok. They apologise for the damage and leave.
On the walk home Cliff tells Jen he really likes her. Cliff admits he did the call and the notes after Dawson told him that Jen loves to be scared. Jen says she isn’t looking for a boyfriend at the moment. Pacey heads home after checking the car. Cliff kisses Jen but is interrupted by Evelyn. Surprisingly she encourages them.
Inside Jen gets a letter that jumps out at her. It’s from Dawson. She assembles back and gives it to Evelyn. In his room Dawson and Joey discuss tonight’s activities. Dawson says Joey dieing is the worst thing he could imagine. Joey decides to sleep over despite the Dawson hiding plastic spiders all over the bed. They stick TV on to find the lady killer has been arrested – it turned out to be the guy that spoke to Joey. Fades to credits. |

So is that Sarah Michelle Gellar or what? I mean it looks like her but it also looks old I can’t think of any old horror movies she was in.
The note in Jen’s locker reads “you are going to die tonight!!” in capitals.
The writing in the mirror is “your gonna die tonight” |
