The movie making continue but Joey refuses to kiss Pacey in the movie. Dawson and Joey talk about Dawson and Jen. Roll opening title sequence. At school Nelly reminds everyone about the dance on Saturday. Dawson comes in to talk about the film class and asks to spend study time at the back of the class. The teacher agrees but say he can’t participate in the class.
Tamara comes in to find Pacey sitting in her chair. He asks to talk to her but she says they have nothing to talk about. Dawson talks to Pacey and Joey about filming as they are running short on time. Dawson suggests that Joey dies earlier so he doesn’t have to kiss Joey and Jen gets to come in after she dies.
In English class, Tamara uses the metaphor of Wuthering Heights to attack Pacey. In film class they are discussing their movie for the Boston film festival. Later Dawson tells Joey about the film which he thinks is a joke but is unhappy about the competition. Cliff introducers herself to Jen and asks her out but she says she will think about it.
Dawson asks his father where his camcorder is. He tells Dawson that it is in their bedroom. He suggests Dawson takes the tape out first. Dawson asks his father about what makes a good kiss. Joey climbs up to Dawson’s room to find Dawson still talking to his father. His father suggests that Dawson tries the kiss on the Joey dummy. Joey images the kiss from the top of the stairs.
Joey finds Gale coming out of the closet with the phone. Joey tells her that she knows. On the film set Joey is looking around for Steven but gets decapitated. Dawson says that the take was brilliant. Jen helps Joey get the blood off her. They seem to share a moment, Jen tells Joey she will get her to like her.
On the site Pacey and Jen do the kiss seen but Pacey goes over the top but Dawson says he is cutting the kiss. Jen tells Dawson she is going to the dance with Cliff. Dawson says he is fine with it but later he moans about it to Joey. Dawson eventually decides to go to the dance, Joey agrees to come. Joey tells Gale how affairs break families apart. She asks if Dawson knows.
At the dance Jen and Cliff start dancing, Pacery spots Tamara and heads over to speak to her. She keeps trying to shoot him down but he keeps trying. Dawson and Joey arrive and Dawson gets her to dance. Joey and Dawson almost go in for a kiss but are interrupted by Jen and Cliff. Dawson sees Jen walk off and goes after her.
Jen asks Dawson to dance but Dawson messes it up. He and Joey look on while she is surrounded by jocks. Dawson tells Joey that he feels like he has known Jen all his life. Joey leaves and Dawson decides to go for it and asks to cut in with Jen and Cliff. However Jen leaves. Later Dawson talks to Joey and Pacey about what happened.
At home, Gale and Mitch start getting it on. Pacey finds himself alone with Tamara again down by the waterfront. She apologises to him but Pacey says that he was at fault too. Tamara tells him that from now on their relationship is strictly teacher student. However they end up kissing again.
Dawson and Joey discuss what happened tonight. They see Jen down by the waterfront and Dawson goes to talk to her. Joey leaves them to talk. Dawson asks for a kiss but Jen says she doesn’t want to move that fast. She offers to dance and they do so as Joey watches on from the shadows. |
