 Dawson's Creek is set in the small town of Capeside and focuses on the story of a group of friends as they go through adolescence. Dawson and Joey have been friends forever as have Dawson and Pacey but what will happen when new girl Jen shows up?
The answer is generally a lot of cute but entertaining drama. Dawson's Creek is the show that defined innocent teen dramas, creator Kevin Williamson based it on his own experiances.
The show made the careers of it's stars and is even considered to have made The WB. The stars are James Van Der Beek (Dawson), Michelle Williams (Jen), Katie Holmes (Joey) and Joshua Jackson as Pacey.

The theme tune to the show is I don't want to wait by Paula Coke.
The show ran for a total of 6 series but has now ended. It created a spin-off called Young Americans, but nobody cares.
The first two series are out on DVD, series 3 is expected in August.
