Manny gets a message from his parents telling them they are coming to stay. Manny asks Bernard if they can stay but he says no. Bernard gets it in writing from Fran that it will be fun and Bernard agrees to let them stay. Manny starts stressing out.
He desperately tries to get ready. His parents arrive and Manny totally stresses out. He begins hyperventilating. Later they all sit around and have tea. Manny’s father mentions that Manny said Bernard was making him a partner.
When his parents leave, Bernard and Fran question Manny. He says he puts a bit of a gloss on letters to his parents and also told them that he has a girlfriend – Fran. Later at the restaurant Bernard and Fran get bored by Manny’s dad and hide under the table.
They arrive back from the restaurant and the men head next door to leave the ladies to it. They truly bore everyone to near death. Next morning Bernard comes out. It turns out Manny’s parents have tired the house and washed Bernard’s suit – which now appears white.
Fran and Bernard tell Manny their parents have to go. However they tell Manny they are staying until Wednesday. They discover that he didn’t tell them to go. Manny asks them to leave. He says he will go up and visit them.
