 As sitcoms set in book shops go there is tradionally little material floating arround. Yet the inspired Channel 4 series, Black Books is turning out to be one of their biggest successes along with the likes of Spaced. And the characters are much cooler.
The show is set around the store, Black Books which is run by Bernard. Also working and hanging around there is Manny and their friend Fran.
The show is almost a none contact slapstick type job. Very funny in a laughing in their own filth type way. It rocks!
