 Sydney Bristow was recruited by SD-6 as a spy for a US government agency. Or so she thought. But when she told her boyfriend Danny the truth and SD-6 had him killed, she realised that she had actually been working for the enemy she thought she had been fighting. Now she works for the real CIA as a double agent working against SD-6.
Her handler is Vaughn and there is plenty of heat between them. Whereas SD-6 there is only one person she can trust - her father Jack Bristow who is also a double agent. Though they have never been that close their new job brings them closer together.
At SD-6 Syndey had Dixon who works with her on operations and Marshall the computer techie although they still think they are working on the site of good. Head of SD-6 is Sloane, he knows the truth about the operation but not about Sydney and Jack. SD-6 is a cell of the aliance - a huge arms dealing organisation.
