 It's strange to think that though the show has now played out its third series, only 3 days of time have been covered. Sometimes a show comes along with a really good idea - 24 of one of theses. Each episode of the 24 part series covers a different hour. And events all occur in real time. The first series began in November 2001.
The show centres around Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Beauer. The show also features Carlos Bernard as Tony Almeida, Dennis Haysbert as President David Palmer and Elisha Cuthbert as Kimberly Bauer. The show is writen by Evan Katz.
In the first day, Jack and his team of CIA elites uncover a plot to assasinate the Presidential nominee David Palmer. Day two, set 18 months later, Jack has to stop a nuclear bomb going off in LA. Day three, terrorists try to blackmail the U.S. government into releasing Salazar with a bio weapon.
